Sorry to mention UKIP again but they have an article on their website stating that the EU is already planning for the exit of Greece from the euro, possibly as early as July. The thinking is that a domino effect may then follow because investment will pour into Greece with her devalued drachma and she will rapidly recover. All the other countries struggling within the euro will then take note, such as Ireland and decide to follow suit. The euro will begin to contract and the countries still in it will become protectionist faced with cheap goods from the countries that have left. That would be the rot that would spell the end of the EU as it has become and the EU will go into reverse. Where will this leave Scotland whose independence is based on the premise of independence within the EU? It will be too late to stop the independence or at least the devolution max bandwagon which has spurred the move towards an English parliament and English independence. So look on the bright side. The EU collapses and the Union collapses and England is truly free after three hundred years, or if the British/Norman establishment goes with it all, a 1,000. Hurray!! On an even more frivolent note, don't you love the EU's free movement of labour. We are unable to supply enough of our own cashpoint scammers, beggars and prostitutes as they prefer to live off benefits and do bugger all. So the EU's free movement of labour is enabling these professions to flood into London ahead of the Olympics to meet the anticipated labour shortage. Oh the Olympics which has benefited our tourism industry outside London so much that bookings of foreign tourists are down because they are staying away and bookings of native tourists are down because they are going abroad to escape the Olympics. What a laugh. - Anonymous
