I didn't read the article in today's Daily Mail - or was it the Express - claiming that Berlin ( not even Brussels ) was already planning for the election of the EU's first president and the abolition of the nation states of Europe. Churchill is meant to have been in favour of a United States of Europe but I wonder how he would feel, if still alive, when faced with this horrible wholly undemocratic multinational mish-mash. However, is this the reason that England is being quietly airbrushed out of history? Scotland, Wales and Ireland together could probably never have defeated Napoleon or Hitler but England without them could have done. A strong nationalist, homogeneous England is a match for any other country in Europe and for anybody planning to lead the rest of Europe down the path to a totalitarian dictatorship of political elites, bankers or however. It cannot just be a coincidence that England's manufacturing ability and national identity has been slowly dismantled over the last fifty years. And I am not blaming the French and Germans although obviously they have benefited from this. The master plan does not lie in Berlin despite all this talk of the Fourth Reich. We are all being used, even the Germans, who are being used to act as Germans tend to do, be paranoid and controlling. They seem to be totally different from other Europeans. Watching the latest Scandinavian crime series on BBC4 "The Bridge" starring an autistic lady detective I was struck by how "German" she seemed. Perhaps they all suffer from the same hereditary autism. The only thing that gives me hope is that the number of St George's flags being flown in my county seems to be on the increase. As regards the election result, Ed the Marxist Milliband may be crowing but many now see what on the surface looks like an act of national suicide (letting Labour back in) as a protest vote by Conservatives ( who either switched to UKIP or stayed at home) and some Liberal Democrat voters who have returned to Labour. But the turnout was only 32%, so many of those could have been immigrants who did turn out and vote for the party that always looks after them ( see Labour's party political broadcast ). I have virtually given up trying to understand the English electorate. Somebody suggested they had been turned off politics because it is boring which means they must have the maturity and intelligence of Harry Enfield's Kevin. The truth is, I hope, probably that they have just given up on all the main parties. As for London, what a prospect, a fight between that total buffoon, Boris Johnson and that undiagnosed schizophrenic turned Muslim Ken Livingstone. It doesn't say much either about the capital of the world's biggest empire or the state of politics today. The more we look at these brainless illogical non-entities the more we must realise what an intelletual giant Enoch Powell was. Real intelligence is not that of the ivory tower academic who has just read a lot but an insightful practical intelligence which allows the possessor to see and state the obvious. Not many of those around in the world of politics now but plenty still on the streets of our towns and cities. - Anonymous

It did seem Robin had a fair hearing. In fact I would go as far as to say that there semed to be some understanding and possibly sympathy for the English position. Robin put the case very clearly, well done Robin. - Andrew Parton

I am in agreement with anonymous, we do not have anyone that really speaks for us. We have had successive Labour Governments run by Scots, Blair was always banging on about his proud Scottish roots, and seems to me most of the Labour party are of other UK regions, and proud to be so, I feel sad no one ever trumpets how proud they are to be English, or maybe I imagine that. We now have Cameron, obviously paternaly a Scot, and just seems to want to concrete us over and sell us of. Chilling the amount of different sources I have read of late, whereby we are considered in corridors of power not even to be a distinct people. - fenlandia

It seems to me that these people cannot understand or do not want to understand why we do not accept that Westminster has just continued to be the English Parliament as it has been in their eyes since the Middle Ages. They do not seem to want to grasp that the Scots, Welsh and Irish have a foot in two camps and we have one only in one. I think the Celts have got us where they want us and would probably try to claim that the prime minister is really the prime minister of England just as the Queen is the Queen of England. They are trying to maintain that we are still ruling them whereas the opposite seems to be the case. Personally, when the momentous day arrives and England does get a parliament I do not feel it should be at Westminster anyhow. That can be the seat of the Federal parliament. England's parliament should be in Winchester, Alfred's capital and the ancient capital of England, a city untainted by the Norman Establishment and British associations. It is a beautiful city anyhow and much more civilised and certainly more English than London which is rapidly being abandoned to the foreigner. It is probably no further to reach from the North than London. Perhaps they could then re-establish the Pines express over its traditional route from Newcastle to Bournemouth rather than the new route to the West Country. - Anonymous

Fair and equal treatment for all England

I've just finished my reading of the transcript. Congratulations Robin! As soon as I have finished this note I will read it again, and take much heart. We have a lot to face but we have a just case, confidently, skillfully and assertively made, for the Party and for England. If England is denied a grave injustice will have been done, of historic significance, and will require to be righted. 'Revolution' will have been legitimised. - The Prangwizard, of England
